Please come if you are interested in knitting, crocheting, or any kind of sewing or quilting. The prayer shawls will be presented to those in need of prayer and comfort and will be dedicated in a special service as we finish them. If you would like to support the group, but aren’t able to participate, there are 3 ways you can help:
- Donate yarn, large knitting needles or crochet hooks, soft fabric like flannel that could be sewn into a soft shawl or comforter, and of course, monetary contributions will be accepted to buy supplies.
- Everything we make will be donated to persons we want to circle with warmth and prayer. They will not be sold.
- Beginners are welcome to come and learn. Men, women and children are all welcome. Parents of infants and young children are welcome to bring them.
