The Williams Memorial sanctuary was renovated with new wiring, carpet removal, and the hardwood floors were refinished. Once the renovations were complete, the sanctuary was cleaned and decorated for the Christmas season. The pictures do not do the renovations any justice. Stop by and worship with us and see for yourself.

On Sunday, November 7, 2010, the Shenandoah Junction United Methodist Charge held a combined service to recognize Veteran’s. Along with members that are Veterans, there were many visitors that served our country. The service included a cantata “Spirit of America” performed by the “Singers for Christ” and bio readings of the veterans. Many thanks to Clifford Myers for bringing the duece-and-a-half, Janet Hinzman for directing the cantata, Joan Houser for reading the bios, and Steve Houser for being the photographer. Lastly, we would like to thank all of Veterans and those currently serving in the U.S. Military.

On Saturday, October 2, 2010 members of the Williams Memorial United Methodist Church made Apple Butter for one of the church’s annual fundraiser. This year we made 68 gallons of apple butter. This was great time for fellowship and during the downtime many members played the newly purchased Nintendo Wii.
